Let's Go Back to the Sixties (But Let's Not Stay Too Long)










This is the best compromise I can manage between the bits of the 60s that I recall with a certain dark nostalgia (we can talk about the parts that I didn't like another day) and the Official PBS/Woodstock/Senile Boomer Version that is given so much credence by the media, persons of tenure, and the gullible. For chronological sticklers, I take the 1950s as having ended around 1965, with the 60s beginning around 1966, peaking circa 1969-70, and petering out around 1973. You may fill in your own decades freely after that.
